BALBISIANA, 6″ – 8″

Balbisiana grows wild in South Florida as well as Mexico and Venezuela, excelling in hot and dry environments. It has long, flat leaf blades extending from its bulbous base that curl and twist wildly in different directions. The larger the plant, the more mesmerizing its leaves become. Balbisiana has a gray, leathery texture and exhibits a tall bloom spike that shoots out purple flowers.
