Although it is a bare root plant that doesn’t require soil, the Resurrection Plant is actually a member of the Selaginella family and not a Tillandsia. We sell this plant in its dormant state, which looks like a small dead clump. It can survive for years in this state with no water! However, once hydrated, the Resurrection Plant opens up and comes back to life, eventually turning green and beginning to grow again!
