Juncea resembles long tufts of thick grass (which, of course, cannot be planted in the ground given this is a Tillandsia). This plant works really well in arrangements or displays when height is needed. While it can eventually reach heights of 2-3+ feet (over years), Juncea is a slow grower, so please select the size you want to enjoy and use now. Juncea’s foliage is sage green with hints of silver and a brownish base, which may also be silver in color depending on the plant and how many trichomes it has. Its bloom spike comes out taller than the plant itself with purple flowers.
